Shepherd Bushiri Brings Faith and Business Leaders Together at 2026 Global Ironman Conference
Faith, entrepreneurship and economic empowerment came together in Lilongwe as Prophet Shepherd Bushiri hosted the 2026 Global Ironman Conference.
Held on 4 April 2026 at the Golden Peacock Complex in Lilongwe, the gathering brought men together around themes of spiritual development, resilience, leadership and economic empowerment.
The programme brought Bushiri’s Christian leadership together with perspectives from established figures in Malawian business.
Faith Meets Enterprise
The Global Ironman Conference was designed to address more than spiritual development alone.
Business and economic issues formed an important part of the programme, reflecting the challenges facing men seeking to build stable families, businesses and communities.
Prominent Malawian business leaders Dr Thom Mpinganjira and Korea Mpatsa were announced among the speakers, bringing experience from business and entrepreneurship into the conference.
The result was a gathering in which Christian teaching sat alongside practical conversations concerning wealth creation, resilience and sustainable economic development.
Building Resilient Men
The wider Ironman initiative seeks to encourage men to develop spiritually while also taking responsibility within their families and communities.
That means addressing purpose and faith alongside practical questions of leadership, work, entrepreneurship and financial development.
The 2026 conference was presented under the theme “Kairos Moment of Victory.”
Attendance was promoted as free, opening the programme to men beyond the immediate church community.
Leadership Beyond the Pulpit
For Shepherd Bushiri, the conference reflects a broader leadership philosophy in which ministry and practical development do not have to exist separately.
Faith leaders command significant communities across Africa.
Bringing those communities into conversations about entrepreneurship, financial responsibility and economic resilience creates opportunities for religious gatherings to address practical challenges as well as spiritual ones.
That approach was visible in the conference’s combination of Christian ministry and established business voices.
Bringing Different Sectors Together
The gathering also attracted attention beyond ECG – The Jesus Nation Church.
Reports ahead of the conference said President Peter Mutharika would be represented through his adviser on religious affairs, Apostle Timothy Khoviwa.
The involvement of figures from ministry, business and public life reflected the conference’s broader leadership focus.
A Platform for Purpose
The Global Ironman Conference ultimately centred on a straightforward idea: strong communities require men equipped with purpose, discipline, faith and the practical ability to build.
For participants in Lilongwe, that meant hearing not only spiritual teaching but also perspectives from people with substantial experience in business and leadership.
It is an approach that reflects a developing dimension of Shepherd Bushiri’s public ministry — creating platforms where faith, leadership and enterprise can meet.
